Who we are |
Starting our eighth year, we have now grown to 2.5 units. In that time, we have moved from being a small business servicing minis to a complex that incorporates four "centres", and offering a wide range of services. However, our ethics haven't changed, and we have resisted growing too quickly in case we loose that personal touch only possible from a family-run business. We know our customers individually, and our aim is to provide them with on-going quality service. In return, we gain great satisfaction in receiving personal letters of thanks, and seeing happiness to the point of tears in some cases! The Minimaster
Led by John (my dad, left), Minimaster prides itself on professional care, and technical accuracy in doing the job. He works in and supervises the workshop, making sure our high level of quality is maintained. His many years of experience building and repairing all types of vehicles are the reason for our famed ability and reputation for doing the job properly. However, you can most often find him playing with his favourite item: the rolling road. John's particular skills are being able to tune vehicles, particular those with ordinary carburettors ("none of this electronic rubbish", as he would say!). Office, Stores and Business Support
George (John's son and my little bro') is now assistant manager, running the stores and ensuring parts are ordered and supplied on time. He also works the office, taking bookings and in charge of the billing. Anne (John's wife, and my mum) has recently scaled down her involvement due to ill health, but will be back soon to resume her managerial activities. |
